Observation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

People are crazy!<\/h2>\n

\nEither people are crazy, or people are trying to drive me crazy<\/strong>. I haven’t decided which one yet.<\/p>\n

\nForgive me while I rant<\/strong>, but it’s actually pretty funny<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThis woman and her friend come into the jewelry store to shop around. In the process the one says:<\/p>\n

“Can you clean my ring?”<\/h2>\n

\nI say “Sure<\/strong>” (there’s nothing better than clean jewelry).<\/p>\n

\nI put her ring in the ultrasonic cleaner<\/a>, clean it, scrub it, and bring it back out<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nShe looks at how clean it is with all the beautiful sparkles. She gets excited and says “Can you clean my other ring?<\/strong>” She hands me that ring now.<\/p>\n

No problem!<\/h2>\n

\nDo you see where this is headed?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n“Anymore?<\/strong>” I ask her slyly looking at her hands and arms.<\/p>\n

\n“No,<\/strong>” she says. Silly laugh, “That’s it!<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

\nI go back. Clean it. Scrub it. Steam it. Bring it back out<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nShe smiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“I forgot about my earrings.”<\/h2>\n

\nShe hands them over to me<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nI now smile and laugh a little. I keep that smile planted firmly on my face as I walk back to the shop<\/strong>… AGAIN!<\/p>\n

\n(crazy is just around the corner…<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

\nSonic, scrub, steam, back out<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nThis is about the time that her friend pipes in and says “Oh, can you clean mine too?<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Silent scream!<\/h2>\n

\nShe’s been there and listening the entire time…<\/p>\n

\nI’m losing my mind<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nDear customers: <\/strong>Can’t you clean all your items at once?<\/p>\n

\nIs it really necessary to clean one ring at a time?<\/strong> Come on! When you walk into the jewelry store just hand them all over; rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants… I’ll clean them all at the same time. They’ll be sparkling new. You’ll love them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nBut, 1 ring at a time???<\/strong><\/p>\n

BONKERS!<\/h2>\n

\nI know what it is. It’s the dazzle. The jewelry cleaning curse<\/strong>… You see, cleaning jewelry is contagious. Addictive<\/strong>. It hypnotizes us. You see it bling and want more. Nothing wrong with that. All those little sparkles sink in…<\/p>\n

“It’s stunning!”<\/h2>\n

\nThis beauty reminds you of your other rings, bracelets, anklets, and nose rings…<\/p>\n

\nBut, when we ask you about cleaning this stuff, hand them over.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBecause if I hear:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Oops, one more thing…”<\/h2>\n

\nI’m going to, well… I’m not going to do anything. But, I’m surely going to think it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nAnd trust me. You don’t want to know where I’m thinking about cleaning your jewelry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ker-flush! One ring at a time.<\/h2>\n

\nLMAO… Hence the smile!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBuy your ultrasonic cleaner<\/a> or steam cleaner here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
