Did you know that you could buy a 2.00 Carat Diamond CHEAPER<\/strong> than you could a 1.00 Carat Diamond?<\/p>\n

\nMost people would be taken back by this, and say “REALLY?<\/strong>“<\/p>\n

But it’s true!<\/h2>\n

\nYou CAN certainly find tons of 2.00, or even 3.00 Carat Diamonds cheaper than the price of some 1.00 Carats<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nWhat you sacrifice, of course, is QUALITY!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWhether it be Cut, Color, or Clarity… Something’s got to give!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nBecause ALL of the 4c’s make up the price of a Diamond<\/strong>, along with some other aspects like Certification, Symmetry, Polish and even Fluorescence. It all adds up!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSo let’s look at an example to demonstrate this point…<\/p>\n

First up, a 1.00 Carat Diamond!<\/h2>\n

\n\"1<\/a><\/p>\n

\nThis 1.04 Diamond<\/a> is actually a very, very nice quality stone<\/strong>. The Clarity is VVS1 <\/strong>(top of the line), and the Color is E<\/strong> (Pure White, the best range of Color there is). The Cut of this stone is Excellent <\/strong>(the best Cut there is), as well as the Polish and Symmetry…<\/p>\n

Excellent!<\/h2>\n

\nPlus, this stone has Zero (or none) Fluorescence<\/strong>, which is important to the overall beauty or appearance of the stone. This stone sold for $13,730<\/strong> (at that quality they don’t last long).<\/p>\n

\nNow, let’s look at a 2.00 Carat Diamond that’s CHEAPER<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Take a peek…<\/h2>\n

\n\"2<\/a><\/p>\n

This Diamond sold for $17,370<\/strong>, and is not a bad Diamond either.<\/p>\n

\nAlthough the quality is much, much lower…<\/p>\n

\nThe Clarity is SI2<\/strong>, so chances are the Flaws in this stone are big enough to be visible at some angles. <\/p>\n

\nThe Color is J<\/strong>, so it may be a little off in Color. It could exhibit a tinge of Yellow or Brown in the stone.<\/p>\n

\nThe Cut is still Excellent<\/strong>, so it will make up for some of its faults. And the Polish is great as well: Excellent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nThe Symmetry is one step lower, being “Very Good<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n

\nThis stone does have some Fluorescence <\/strong>to it (faint<\/strong>) as well, and it could be enough to make it look Foggy or Hazy in Natural Daylight (Notice I said “could<\/strong>“, you wouldn’t actually know until you viewed it with your own eyes).<\/p>\n

\nOverall, it really isn’t a bad stone at all (view it here<\/a>). In fact, most larger Carat Weight stones are lower quality anyway<\/strong>, because it gets so rare to have Clean White Stones in bigger Carat Weights. It’s just a fact of nature. <\/p>\n

Nature is NOT perfect!<\/h2>\n

\nSo depending on the quality you desire, prices could be all over the board. But certainly don’t rule any of them out, because they all face up differently<\/strong> (especially better Cut Diamonds), and they could show more or less Sparkle than others.<\/p>\n

\nNow, if you really want to sink your teeth into an incredibly large stone…<\/p>\n

Look at these beauties…<\/h2>\n

\n2.00 Carat, IF, D, Diamond<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\"2<\/a><\/p>\n

\nThis Diamond is Internally Flawless<\/strong>, with Perfect Color (D<\/strong> is the highest Grade possible), and it has Excellent <\/strong>Cut, Polish and Symmetry… (see it here at James Allen<\/a>)<\/p>\n

\nAll for only $83,340<\/strong> (at the time of this post).<\/p>\n

And then we have the KING…<\/h2>\n

\n3.29, IF, D, Diamond<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWOW! Talk about Large and Impressive!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThis massive Diamond (see it here<\/a>) is about as Perfect as one can get<\/strong> (read the definition of Perfect here<\/a>). It’s size will drop your jaw. The Color is Perfect. The Clarity is Internally Flawless. It has Excellent Cut, Polish and Symmetry. And it has No Fluorescence!<\/strong> <\/p>\n
