This is a very common problem<\/strong> that people have:<\/p>\n

Wrong date change!<\/h2>\n

\nTheir watch day (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat<\/strong>), and the watch date (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31<\/strong>), changes to the NEXT <\/strong>day and date at 12 NOON <\/strong>instead of 12 MIDNIGHT<\/strong>, when it’s supposed too.<\/p>\n

\nThe reason is quite simple<\/strong>, the watch gears (dials, cogs<\/strong>) work on a 24 hour cycle<\/strong> (actual hours in a day), versus just 12 hours (1-12).<\/p>\n

\nIf you were to open up your watch, and look at the movement<\/strong> (guts of the watch), you’d see something showing the days and date, as in the example image below…<\/p>\n

\nGranted every watch is different, but you get the meaning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen your watch switches at noon instead of at Midnight, that means that your watch cycle is set 12 hours too fast.<\/strong> (or 12 hours too slow, depending on how you look at it).<\/p>\n

Fixing this is easy.<\/h2>\n

\nAll you have to do is to turn the hour hand of your watch, 12 hours more<\/strong> (which is 12 hours ahead<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

\nSo if it’s 2 o’clock<\/strong> in the afternoon, spin the hour hand ahead 12 more hours until it reads 2 o’clock again<\/strong>. If it’s 11:30 in the morning, spin it all the way around again to 11:30 once more.<\/p>\n

It’s that simple.<\/h2>\n

\nNow, depending on when you do this (what part of the day or night), you’ll probably also have to readjust the day and date again<\/strong>. But don’t worry, the hour hand is now set properly, so once you reset the correct day and date, then everything will work perfectly, as it should.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spanish anyone?<\/h2>\n

\nDo note that if your watch day is showing Spanish days: DOM – DOMINGO <\/strong>(Sunday), LUN – LUNES (Monday), MAR – MARTES (Tuesday), MER – MIERCOLES (Wednesday), JUEV – JUEVES (Thursday), VER – VIERNES <\/strong>(Friday), SAB – SABADO (Saturday), instead of English, just pull the crown out<\/strong>, and rotate the day ahead once, so that English word is showing<\/strong>. That way when the day rotates at midnight, the proper language will still be displayed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s that!<\/h2>\n

\nYou watch is now set right and come 12 midnight<\/strong>, everything will flip over and change according to plan.<\/p>\n
