Bottom line; studs are not cheap. And even though 2.00 carats are unbelievable, <strong>they are totally worth it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nJust make sure you get <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2PKAuxt\">locking back earrings<\/a> or screw posts so<strong> you don&#8217;t lose them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><h2>Hoops are always a great present:<\/h2>\n<p>\nThe best style of diamond hoops are the <strong>huggie-style earrings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\n<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2D0GWh4\">Huggie style earrings<\/a> are the ones where the earring post <strong>locks into place<\/strong> in the back of the hoop (see picture). The earring post is out of sight when the hoops are in your ears so you don&#8217;t have to worry about <strong>losing earrings backs<\/strong>. You put the post through your ear and snap it closed. You&#8217;ll hear an audible snap, which tells you that the <strong>huggie earrings are locked and secure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nDiamond hoops make a great statement. They&#8217;re dressy, stunning and comfortable to wear. <strong>You get more for less<\/strong>. You can still get 1.00 carats, but it&#8217;ll cost you <strong>half the price<\/strong>. And you&#8217;ll have more diamonds too! <strong>You can&#8217;t beat that.<\/strong> More diamonds, but smaller diamonds&#8230; Smaller diamonds, <strong>smaller price.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><h2>So what should you wear?<\/h2>\n<p>\nNo doubt about it, diamond earrings make a great gift for any <strong>birthday, anniversary or holiday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nWhile diamond studs and hoops always <strong>top of the list<\/strong> of diamond earring <strong>wishes<\/strong>, diamond dangles and drops don&#8217;t fall far behind.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe biggest reason why <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2S7QNpQ\">diamond dangles<\/a> (see picture of two-tone earrings) don&#8217;t sell as well, is because diamond dangles are <strong>not an everyday earring<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSo let&#8217;s look at those&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>\n<h2>Dangles and drop earrings:<\/h2>\n<p>\nDangles and drops are a little bit harder to wear than regular earrings. They look great, but usually only make their appearance at <strong>special occasions or fancy events<\/strong>. They can be stunning, but tend to get caught on things: phones, sweaters, hair&#8230; Anything that hangs down tends to fall a bit short in the <strong>must-wear department<\/strong>, although they are quite pretty and dazzling (<strong>perfect for a wedding<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>\nPretty, YES! Change of pace, YES! <strong>Practical, NO!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><h2>What type of diamond earrings should you buy?<\/h2>\n<p>\nI would say, <strong>buy diamond studs first<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\nYou can never go wrong with studs. <strong>Ever!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Buy the biggest pair that you can afford<\/strong>, and then still get the next step up. You&#8217;ll be happy you did and <strong>you&#8217;ll never regret it<\/strong>. A great pair of diamond stud earrings will give you<strong> more wear for your buck<\/strong>, and you can wear them for life.<\/p>\n<p>\nIf you already have diamond studs, get a bigger pair. <strong>Diamond studs can never be too big.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\nPlus, lots of women have more than one hole in their ears and will wear <strong>graduated sizes<\/strong> of diamonds <strong>running up the earlobe<\/strong>. One carat in the top hole, 1\/2 carats in the bottom&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><h2>3 holes?<\/h2>\n<p>\nAnd if there&#8217;s a third hole, wear 1\/4 carats in those! <\/p>\n<p>\nA graduated look with diamond studs is awesome and makes such a huge visual impact.
