\nThe biggest reason: Rings change.<\/strong> Styles change. Designs are updated<\/strong>…<\/p>\n

\nRing lines get dropped<\/strong>. Manufacturers stop production. Vendors close down… Just like cars, every year or so the line gets renewed, revamped<\/strong>. Not to mention jewelers are always looking for the latest and greatest new styles and trends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nSo the diamond ring that you buy this year, won’t be around next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Custom designed:<\/h2>\n

\nIf you pass up the opportunity of buying that matching wedding band<\/strong> now, you’ll have a hard time trying to find something that matches or fits<\/strong> later.<\/p>\n

\nIn the future, there’s a good chance that you’ll have to have a custom wedding band made<\/strong>. And custom designed rings are NOT cheap.<\/strong> Not to mention the fact that to have a custom band made they’ll need to keep her engagement ring<\/strong> (The jewelers need to create a wax). Most fiancees will not be happy about giving up their proposal ring.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nNow some jewelers sell them as sets only. They won’t break apart their sets and sell them separately. They know how tough it is to sell each piece individually<\/strong>, and how difficult it is to make one later. And… You’ll usually get a better deal<\/strong> by buying them both at once anyway. <\/p>\n

It works out perfect <\/strong>for the customer. :)<\/p>\n

The one ring:<\/h2>\n

\nOr you could just get a one ring… The TWO-BAND-SET (engagement and wedding ring) is a fading ring style<\/strong>. The new trend is just one ring, or one piece.<\/strong> An individual ring that serves as both the wedding ring and the engagement ring. <\/p>\n

\nTimes have changed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So here’s a bit of advice:<\/h2>\n

\nIf you’re traditional and want both rings, but are tight on money… Be smart… Put the matching wedding band in layaway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Layaways are interest free:<\/h2>\n

\nPay on the wedding ring away until you need it. <\/p>\n

\nPayments are usually once a month, and make purchasing that band easy. <\/p>\n

\nPlus, you’ll be happy and prepared when the big day comes.<\/p>\n
