\nThis diamond pendant (pictured to the right – which I feel is going to be the best seller ever<\/strong>) and the rest of the collection: earrings, rings and bracelets, is a sure winner. <\/p>\n

\nWith only a little over a month away, these beautiful products will sell out fast<\/strong> this holiday.<\/p>\n

De Beers brainstorm:<\/h2>\n

\nThe interesting thing behind the love knot pendants, earrings and rings (see pictures) is that it’s the brainstorm of the very well known diamond mining conglomerate (and now retailer): De Beers<\/strong> (some write it as DeBeers).<\/p>\n

De Beers was established in 1888, so they know a thing or two about diamonds. All the Christmas ads you see on TV this season for the diamond love knot<\/strong> will be created and designed (and pushed) by De Beers.<\/p>\n

De Beers comes up with some of the most amazing products. Every year they bring out a new item and it ends up being the latest exciting craze. Jewelers love it because it helps drive sales. Customers love it because it’s beautiful, elegant and new.<\/strong> Just look at some of their wonderful pieces:<\/p>\n

Remember some of these past advertisements?<\/h2>\n

\nThe 3 diamond engagement ring<\/a> (called the trilogy ring<\/strong> – which stood for your past, present and future<\/strong>) and the unforgettable tagline: “She already knows you love her. Now everyone else will too”. <\/p>\n

\nCheesy, but they still work. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWomen all across the country were getting diamonds for Christmas! Gotta love those stocking stuffers.<\/p>\n

Other famous jewelry that De Beers made popular include: the right hand ring.<\/a> And what about last years “journey diamond pendant<\/a>” (give her your heart on a string), and don’t forget the everlasting eternity ring.<\/a> “Say you’d marry her all over again.” See – diamonds are forever.<\/strong> De Beers puts together some great advertising, great messages and great appealing visuals that make the items hot, wanted and sought after. They certainly know what they’re doing.<\/p>\n

But the really crazy thing about this whole “love knot<\/strong>” promotion this year is the way De Beers is going about it. Usually jewelers can sell the products and items and advertise it anyway they want to. It’s worked out well for them in the past… But this year…<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year it’s not like that.<\/h2>\n

\nTo participate in the 2009-2010 love knot promotion<\/strong>, jewelers actually have to buy into the program.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

I find this very interesting because it could play a huge role in the upcoming season<\/strong>. It may make the items harder to get or a lot of stores may not even want to carry them???<\/p>\n

\nGood or bad, the way De Beers is handling it could also produce a flock of cheap knock-offs<\/strong> as well. Who knows what will really happen? Keep your eyes open for this one.<\/p>\n

Who carries the love knot?<\/h2>\n

\nA few of the national jewelry store chains<\/strong> that are participating and carrying the Everlon love knot collection are: Andrew Jewelers, Ben Bridge Jewelers, Fred Meyer Jewelers, Helzberg Jewelers, JCPenney, Littman Jewelers, Macy’s, Reeds Jewelers, Riddles Jewelry, Rogers Jewelers, Sam’s Club<\/strong>, Samuels Diamonds, Samuels Jewelers, Schubach Jewelers, and Zales Jewelers (not to mention tons of local retailers).<\/p>\n

Word of advice for the upcoming holidays:<\/h2>\n

\nIf you want to buy the hottest jewelry merchandise on the market for 2009 and 2010, then don’t hesitate<\/strong> or wait, find it early and buy it now. <\/p>\n

\nI have a feeling these awesome pieces will be in high demand and become very hard to locate (double the price on Ebay if you wait – And rain checks don’t make great gifts<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

So if you’re wondering what you should get your girlfriend, fiancee, or wife this year, look no further than the love knot.<\/p>\n

This is the golden ticket.<\/h2>\n
