\nIn fact, an I Clarity Diamond could Look Better than a VS Clarity Diamond or even a VVS Clarity Stone, which are Two Top-of-the-Line Grade Diamonds.<\/p>\n

How is this Possible?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cut and Color<\/h2>\n

You see, a Diamond’s Beauty is a Combination of the 4 C’s<\/a>. Mainly Cut<\/a>, Color<\/a>, and Clarity<\/a> (The last one is Carat Weight<\/a>, but it’s really Not a Huge Issue here).<\/p>\n

All 3, Cut<\/strong>, Color<\/strong> and Clarity<\/strong> Affect the Sparkle and Beauty of a Diamond.<\/p>\n

If one of these Qualities is Lacking, it could Cause the Diamond to Look BAD!<\/strong><\/p>\n

This basically means, that a Lower Clarity Diamond COULD<\/strong> Look Better than a Higher Clarity Diamond, if these 3 Categories are all HIGH QUALITY<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Diamond Clarity<\/h2>\n

\nClarity is the Amount of Inclusions, Imperfections or Flaws in a Diamond. Most Inclusions are Microscopic (Viewed at 10x Magnification<\/strong> with a Jeweler’s Loupe<\/a> or a Microscope<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The only Diamonds that Clarity Affects the most are the Clarities where you can SEE<\/strong> the Inclusions with the Naked Eye. Clarities like: SI2 Clarity, I1 Clarity, I2 Clarity and I3 Clarity).<\/p>\n

All the other Clarity Grades aren’t Affected as much because you would have to View the Diamonds under a Microscope or Jeweler’s Loupe<\/strong> to see the Flaws.<\/p>\n

But, the REAL Question is:<\/h2>\n

If you can see Eye-Visible Inclusions in an I Clarity Diamond and NOT<\/strong> in an SI or VS Diamond, then HOW can it Look BETTER?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Easy! Because Inclusions are NOT Easy to spot (unless they’re Gigantic)… Most people will have to Scrutinize the Stone to find them. And most can’t find them unless you Point them out. So Clarity in itself is NOT a Big Concern<\/strong> when it comes to Looks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

But Color…<\/h2>\n

\nColor is something that most can see<\/strong>. Color is a Whole Different Story!<\/p>\n

Diamond Color<\/h2>\n

People tend to think that Most Diamonds are White in Color. Diamonds Sold in the Near Colorless Range<\/strong> (G, H, I, J<\/strong>) or a Colorless Range (D, E, F<\/strong>) tend to ALL<\/strong> Look White. These Colors are usually called Pure White, Off White, Fine White or just White depending on what Color you’re looking at.<\/p>\n

The Truth of the Matter is, most Diamonds are NOT<\/strong> White. They are Tinted with some Slight Color. Hues like: Yellow<\/strong>, Gray<\/strong> or Brown<\/strong>. These Colors are NOT very Pretty<\/strong>. Just pick up any K, L or M Colored Diamond to see what I’m talking about.<\/p>\n

Diamonds with a Low Color are usually Not Very Bright or Sparkly<\/strong>. Many Look Dull, Dark or Lifeless<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And Speaking of Dull, Dark and Lifeless, let’s take a look at Cut!<\/p>\n
