UNIDENTIFIED STAMPS INSIDE RINGS?

I get endless Questions about Unidentified Stamps inside of Rings.

ENDLESS!

So much so that I had to literally say “I am no longer taking questions about Marks or Stamps inside the Ring“. Really, it’s pretty insane!

And even though I’ve made a long list of the Most Popular Stamps Here, it hasn’t slowed down the entries…

I still get questions daily. And I also see a ton of Questions Regarding Stamps (or Marks) in my Google Analytics. Things like:

• “ev” jewelry stamp?
• gr marking on ring?
• .3 al stamp in ring?
• m within heart arrow ring stamp?
• What does 8c89 mean stamped on Jewelry?
• Does an l stamped on a ring mean anything?
• What does 4862 mean on the inside of my ring?
• What does it mean if a ring is marked with jc?
• What does at fl-e mean on the inside of a ring?

So what I’ve did is put together a list of Stamps that need identifying. I don’t know what these mean, so I’m turning to you for help.

If you know what the true meanings are of these markings, let me know. Email me and I will add in the correct meaning. That way, we all know!

I do believe most of these are probably Manufacturer’s Stamps, Logos, or Jeweler’s Initials. Hence, a lot of these will be forever unknown.
