Engagement Ring Shopping?
Looking for a great diamond solitaire for an inexpensive price?
Well, when we’re talking about engagement rings, 2 grand is pretty inexpensive (the average bridal ring is $3,000).
So what kind of solitaire (meaning, single diamond), can you get for $1,999?
OR LESS?
Take a peek at these…
(Prices shown were good at the time of this post)
Round diamonds, Princess cut diamonds, Marquise… All set in a plain solitaire mounting (called a Tiffany setting), or a Cathedral mounting (where the mounting is thicker and comes up on either side of the diamond to show it off and protect it).
But what about Carat Weights?
Let’s face it, the carat weights are not going to be huge… It really depends on the quality of the stone and the mounting. But generally you can get a diamond anywhere from 1/4-1/2 carat in size, so it’s not too bad (and you can always upgrade later for an Anniversary).
The diamond rings shown above are from Helzberg, but they aren’t the only jeweler to sell inexpensive solitaires. In fact, all jewelry stores do, I just used Helzberg as a example.

Quick Tip:
Try to steer away from any Diamond Simulants (like Moissanite), stick with genuine diamond instead.
And one more Bit of Advice:
Pay cash if you can. Because those finance charges, fees and interest will eat you alive.
For we all know, a great deal is only a great deal, when the ring has been paid in full.
Cheers! :)
