So what Causes these Diamonds to go Gray?
The gray color is natural, like stated. But it’s caused by the high concentration of hydrogen, and sometimes even boron. Just like all fancies naturally colored by different minerals, irons, and chemicals in the Earth millions of years ago, fancy gray diamonds are extremely rare, and can range from light gray, to dark gray (Darker is better, as shown above).
