The breakdown for a Banana Split, the Ice Cream Dessert, is this: Grab yourself a long Dish (called a Boat). Then grab a Banana and Cut it in Half Lengthwise (hence the name) and lay it out in the dish. Throw on top a Scoop of Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry Ice Cream, Slather on some Chocolate Sauce or Fudge, and Garnish them with Whipped Cream, Crushed Nuts, and some Maraschino Cherries… and you have yourself a Mouthwatering Treat!
