10 Grand?
Savings?
You bet… It’s so easy to save that much money on diamonds (and in this case BIG diamonds), if you shop and compare before you buy.
Companies like James Allen and Blue Nile are the biggest and best diamond dealers on the net. They will save you hundreds and thousands of dollars.
For example:
This 2 carat diamond here that Helzberg is selling… You can actually save 10 grand.
This diamond shown below, which can be between 1.95 carats and 2.11 carats, is huge and rare, no doubt. It has a pretty average clarity for such a big diamond; I1. I1 means “included“, and it will have eye-visible inclusions (Most large diamonds do). The color is listed as H-I. Meaning, it could be an H, or it could be an I (you won’t know which until you buy it).
The cut of this stone is a specialized cut called “Radiant Star”. It has 145 facets on it, versus the standard 58 on a round brilliant cut diamond. More facets give you more flashes of light, but those flashes are smaller. So you don’t necessarily get more sparkle, just different sparkle.
Also note that they don’t list symmetry, polish, fluorescence, nor do they show you the exact diamond you’re buying… They only show a stock photo used for many of their diamonds.
And lastly, their diamond is not certified either.
Take a peek at this 2 carat:
Now, heading over to James Allen, I searched for the exact same quality (or as close as I could since Helzberg didn’t have all the info listed).
I find this GIA certified 2.05 carat diamond with I1 clarity and H color.
Take a peek:
And for an I1 clarity diamond, it looks very clean (Impressive for that clarity grade). It faces up just like much more expensive diamonds…
The color is H (fine white). The cut is “excellent“, the polish is “excellent“, the symmetry is “excellent” (all the best grades you can buy), and it has zero (none) fluorescence.
And as you can see, James Allen’s diamond sells for $9,120 (the price at the time of this post).
TEN GRAND LESS!
Sure it’s a loose diamond and Helzberg’s is mounted. But you can choose a solitaire mounting for $200 and up HERE…
It’s still a massive savings for a massive diamond.
Plus, you end up getting a much higher quality stone.
Blow your mind?
It shouldn’t. James Allen and Blue Nile have the lowest prices on loose certified diamonds anywhere in the world.
So before you buy…
