Blue Moon?

No… It’s the SUPER blue blood moon, and it’s coming our way.

Tomorrow morning: January 31st, 2018, between 4:51 a.m. and 6:07 a.m., there will be a total eclipse of the moon, and it will turn deep dark blue-red… Something that hasn’t occurred in 150 years.

What exactly is it?

A blood moon occurs when the Earth is passing between the moon and sun. It’s caused by light bending around the Earth, more commonly known as a lunar eclipse.

A blue moon combined with a supermoon (when its closest to the Earth and appears 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter) is a rare phenomena called a super blue blood moon.

• 🌕 Supermoon – When the Moon is at or near its closest point to Earth.
• 🔵 Blue Moon – The second full moon in a month.
• 🔴 Blood Moon – The red tint Earth’s shadow casts on the Moon during a lunar.
