So going there today, I was in search of the cheapest 1 carat round brilliant cut diamond I could find…
And the price is unbelievable. Less than 2 grand to get a diamond this size. WOW!
SI2 clarity, K color, 1.01 carat, and GIA certified..

It’s very hard to find diamonds this cheap.
…Especially in an SI quality. Usually all you find are I clarity diamonds.
But of course, the main reason the price is so low is because of the visible inclusion dead center. That’s normal for SI2 clarity diamonds. Not to mention that the diamond has a tad bit yellow color in the hue (K color). Also very common for diamonds in this range.
If you wanted to get a more eye-clean diamond, with a whiter appearance, it would take the price up to around $3,250 (that’s SI1, H, Very Good Cut).
Is the added cost worth it to you?
No matter, this diamond is a really good deal, and many people don’t mind some carbon in their stone. It not only adds personality, but makes it easy to identify as well.
