VS2 Clarity:

VS2 is a very clean clarity grade. It has small imperfections in the diamond that are barely noticeable under magnification (just enough to easily identify them).

E Color:

I LOVE E color diamonds. E color is pure-white. A very bright white diamond that looks magnificent. So crisp, so light, so outstanding. Compare an E to any near-colorless diamond (like H-I-J) and you will instantly see the difference.

Astor Ideal Cut:

Astor Ideal is the best cut Blue Nile sells (and one of the best in the entire world). It’s true hearts and arrows, the cream of the crop. Lastly, the price:

It pushes the value up. Diamonds of this magnitude are very rare. Hence, very expensive. But to spend an extra grand on a diamond that will knock your socks off, is worth every penny. Put this diamond side by side with a standard diamond (which sells anywhere from $6,000 – $8,000 on average), and you will see a massive difference in appearance and sparkle.
