I can’t Stress this Enough…
If you’re Buying a Diamond, or any Size, Quality, Price, Loose or Mounted, you MUST
MUST Microscope your Stone!
If you don’t, then why bother Studying the 4C’s? Why Bother Buying Certified or trying to get a Great Deal…
Because the Microscope IS the Deal Breaker!
It Shows you what you’re Buying
It’s like looking under the HOOD. And when I’m talking about “Microscope“, I’m Refering to Gem Microscopes, 10x Jeweler’s Loupe, or even those Cool New Microscopes for the iPhone (Plus they’re Inexpensive!) Diamonds Magnified at Ten Power (10x – What Jewelers use to Grade Diamonds with) will show you Incredible Things.
Things Like:
Fractures in the Stone. Cloudy Areas. A Wavy Girdle. An Uneven Table. A Broken Culet. Misaligned Facets. Inscriptions on the Edge. A Trigon that’s Hidden in a Natural…
You won’t see any of that unless you Scope the Stone.
You Have to Verify
You won’t be able to Verify the Cut, Color, or Clarity of the Diamond. You won’t know if the Diamond actually Matches the Diamond Listed on the Report.
You won’t be able to Identify the Flaws and Confirm those on the Diamond Plot.
But that’s not all…
With a Microscope, you’ll be able to see the Prongs of your Ring. Whether they’re Bent, Cracked, Worn, or Lifted.
You’ll be able to Scope the Stone before you Drop it off at the Jewelers, and Scope it again when you Pick it back up (from Sizing, Retipping, or any Repair or Polish) to Guarantee that you DID get your Diamond Back!
It Prevents Diamond Switching!
It’s Vital!
Necessary!
Especially with an Expensive Engagement Ring Purchase. You CAN’T SKIP this Responsibility!
It’s a MUST!
When you’re Shopping for Diamonds, Scope every Stone. Compare Different Qualities. See what makes one Stone a VS Clarity, and the other an I Clarity Diamond.
It’s Amazing!
Scope SAME Clarity Stones as well. Not all SI1 Diamonds look the Same. See for yourself…

Just know that using a Microscope may Feel Odd at First (6th Grade Science), but you get used to them. Used to looking at the World through Bionic Eyes. You get used to using the Focal Knobs to Adjust your Point of View. You’ll have FUN looking at the Stone from all Angles, Sides, and even Upside Down.
It really is Quite Fascinating!
And if you’re Shopping at a Store, getting Info and Prices, and for some Reason they DON’T or WON’T Show you the Stone under a Microscope, then DON’T BUY IT!
Simple as that!
You should Never Buy a Diamond that you don’t View with 10x Magnification.
Scope the Stones.
Really take the time to SEE them.
“I SEE YOU!”
And then, and only then, will Clarity and Quality really “CLICK“. It’ll all make Sense and you’ll see why one Diamond Appears Similar to another, but Costs $2,000 MORE!
It’s a Microscopic World that you really CAN’T AFFORD to MISS!
So Buy a Microscope, Jeweler’s Loupe, or iPhone Scope and look at your Stone TODAY!
Would you know if Someone Switched it out?
Do you know what your Inclusions look like?
Have you seen the Laser Inscription Close-Up?
You Should, and right now is a Great Time to Start!

i want to buy microscope for grading small size diamonds 1mm sized
which micro scope will be better, which help me to work faster and easy. and at afordable price
Hi Rushabh. I would look into something portable, yet strong, like this AmScope Cordless 15x-30x Microscope. Binocular microscopes with stronger power (20x and higher) will work better for smaller diamonds such as melee. Plus, it’s one of the most affordable microscopes there is. Other similar prices microscopes are here. -Richard
