It’s really Kind of Weird to think about…
But Diamonds are the ONLY Gemstone on the Face of the Earth, where “NO COLOR” is actually “MORE EXPENSIVE!”
All the Other Gems are Opposite!
Tanzanite, Amethyst, Sapphire, Citrine, Peridot, Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, Tanzanite, Aquamarine, Tourmaline, Opal… And even Pearls!
They are ALL Better and More Valuable when they have a Deeper, Darker, More Distinct Color! (As long as they don’t look Black)
See the Gemstone Image Below…
The Darker Shades are ALWAYS BETTER!
BUT NOT DIAMONDS!
With Diamonds, the LESS Color makes them More Rare, More Expensive, and More Desireable.
Less Color, as in “Pure White Color” (or Colorless), is the Best Color Grades you can get (Which are D-E-F Colors).
All the other Shades of Diamond (G-Z) have Off-Tone or Hints of Color in them (And some are Really Yellow and Really Visible).
They get More Inexpensive as you go down the Alphabet.
After all, who wants a Diamond that looks Yellow, Stained or Old?
NOT I
Personally, I Prefer Pure White Diamonds (E is my Favorite). I like how they look, I like how “White” and “Bright” they Appear, I really LOVE how they Sparkle and “POP” in the Mounting.
It’s Sheer Beauty!
I wouldn’t Buy anything else.
So do I mind Spending MORE for Color?
Absolutely NOT!
Because Color is Something you CAN see with your own Eyes. Where as Clarity is much Harder to Distinguish, and most of the time you’d need a Microscope or a 10x Jeweler’s Loupe to see them anyway.
But Color…
Color is in your Face!
It’s either WHITE, or it’s YELLOW!
It’s just Money, right?
Bright…
White…
I’ll take TWO Please!
