I don’t believe it.
First off, I didn’t even know peanut butter had carbon in it…
But apparently it does. And apparently scientists in Germany have figured out a way to turn this peanut butter into diamonds.
A messy theory…
From a lab in Bayerisches Geoinstitut, Dan Frost is working on simulating the exact same conditions that create diamonds in the Earth’s crust (extracting oxygen from CO2, applying heat, pressure…) and VOILA! a baby diamond is born.
