CLEAN YOUR RING
Seriously!
Rings get dirty quickly. They get covered with hair sprays, lotions, perfumes, detergents, dirt, grime, and everything in-between.
And all this debris won’t make your ring or diamond look good.
Crud is a Diamond Killer
Dirt makes your diamond look dull, dark, and sparkle less.
And that’s Sad!
So get in the habit of cleaning your ring and diamonds often.
Use these Quick Tips and Tricks:
- Use a soft toothbrush to gently scrub your ring, gems and prongs.
- Make sure to clean underneath the gems (where they collect the most gunk).
- Clean them at least once a week, so dirt doesn’t have time to build up.
- Use a solution of hot water (coffee-hot), and a dab of Mr. Clean (or Ammonia), and it’ll do wonders to your engagement ring.
- Keep a dazzle stick with you for instant clean-ups and sparkle sessions.
- Make sure you clean it really good (take it to a jeweler for a polishing and inspection) when you add your wedding ring, and for the actual wedding (the ring pictures have got to look perfect).
- Buy yourself a jewelry cleaner or a steam cleaner and your diamonds will sparkle like the day you got them.
