Diamond Cut
The diamond cut is crucial to the sparkle and beauty of a diamond. The better the cut is, the more life, brilliance, fire and scintillation that diamond will have.
Cut is graded with 5 different cut grades: Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor.
Excellent is the best, and if you truly want a diamond to look kick ass, then opt for “Excellent” or at the very least “Very Good“.

Polish and Symmetry
If you can also get “Excellent” grades in these two areas as well, then you’ll have what they call a Triple Excellent Diamond, which are those wonderful Hearts and Arrows (also called Hearts on Fire, True Hearts and Signature Ideal). These are the finest and best looking diamond cuts in the world!
