Most guys think that you have to spend 2 Months Salary on a Diamond Engagement Ring.
Most guys think that you must buy her a big Diamond, like a 3/4 Carat (75 points) or a One Carat Diamond (1.00).
The Industry pushes large Diamonds, and why not, we all want Diamond sales. But, Large Diamonds are NOT Cheap!
Little does the consumer know that the average Diamond Engagement Ring is not that large.
In fact, the average Carat Weight of an Engagement Ring is only 38 Points (.38 Carat – 3/8 Carat).
Upgrades can always happen later in life when you’re rich and famous, but for now, why change the statistics? Why spend more money than you should?
You can get a great Diamond quality on a beautiful Engagement Ring for Dirt Cheap… So to Speak!
Price Ranges
The price ranges for 38 Point Diamonds start as low as $500 (I Clarity), and even if you went all the way to the top (IF Clarity, D Color), you would still be around $1,500.
That’s COOL!
It’s much more affordable than an $8,000 Diamond!
So it’s simple. Start small and work your way up.
Take a look at these Diamond Deals from James Allen below. They begin with Low Quality and go all the way to “Excellent“!

Also note that ALL of the Diamonds listed above are Fluorescent FREE! No Diamond Fluorescence at all (which I highly recommend).
So as you can see, you don’t need to spend an arm and a leg. You just have to be smart about your purchase and be sensible.
Later on in life, if you want to splurge, do so. But don’t break the bank if you don’t have to.
After all, marriage is all about love and 2 people sharing their lives together, it’s not about the size of the rock!
Setting the Stone
Setting the Diamond into an affordable mounting is just as easy. For as little as $400, you can have it set in a Standard 18k White Gold Mounting (Tiffany Style Ring).
So taking a Good Quality Diamond listed above (SI1, G) and putting it into a Classic Setting will only set you back around $1,100.
Now that’s a great deal! See image below…
Step Up
If you find 3/8 Carat a little too small… Step up into a Half Carat Diamond. Just expect the price to jump! But, at least the size difference will be quite noticeable!
