THE FIT OF A SILICONE RING

Too Snug?

I love silicone rings a lot.

Just like I love active wear… the active wear by American Eagle is incredible, it feels so awesome (I highly recommend trying them).

I also love my fitbit, elliptical machine, and doing 12 minutes of planks a day (not to mention my 200 push-ups, 200 crunches, and 200 side bends)…

I Love being Fit!

And so, wearing a silicone ring just feels good.

It’s flexible, stretchy, durable, and I don’t have to worry about dinging it up, getting it caught, or taking it off and losing it…

But…

Even though you can wear them while lifting weights, there is one thing that you should know about silicone rings…

They Fit Differently!

They fit different than a normal metal ring. And that’s because they’re rubber. They tend to cling onto the flesh and skin… (which is fine, for it moves when you move), but it doesn’t leave any room between your finger and the ring. Which also means, there’s no room for air, and when you sweat, it can actually cause you to break out and get a rash.

These Rings need to Breath!

Just like a metal ring, it shouldn’t be too snug that the ring can’t breath. You need to get a little air so you don’t develop a red rash.

So what should you do?

Buy a silicone ring 1/2 size larger!

That 1/2 size difference makes the ring a little bit more looser, and more comfortable to wear. It won’t stick to your finger and get all sweaty underneath. Plus, it won’t cut off circulation either.

That’s why buying a couple of different sizes can really be wise…

And they do sell variety packs of silicone rings, in multiple ring sizes, so you’re sure to find the perfect fit.

Some sets have 3 rings, others have 6…
