Rounds are expensive.

The round diamond is the go-to-diamond choice. It’s the first rock cut out of the rough parent rock, and it’s the best selling shape there is. Half of the diamonds sold today are round. This demand keeps the price higher.

2) Wearability:

Rounds look good with any mounting or design. They have no sharp edges or corners to get caught or snagged. The soft curves are comfortable and classy. Plus, most inserts, jackets and wraps are made to circle around a brilliant cut diamond. They simply go hand in hand.

3) Symmetry:
