Memorize Your Diamonds Flaws And Inclusions

Put on your thinking cap!

If you want to keep your diamond from being switched, stolen, or swapped out

This is what you need to do:

Memorize your Inclusions!

I can’t emphasize this enough.

Every single diamond has some sort of flaws and inclusions (unless you are the 1% that owns a truly flawless diamond), and all of these birthmarks or fingerprints will be absolutely unique in nature.

No Two Are Alike!

And so all you have to do is to study your flaws, under 10x magnification, memorize them, and be able to identify them later.

Easy as that!

Look at this diamond below as an example…

Memorize The Flaws And Inclusions Inside Your Diamond

That’s a real diamond, and real plot. And looking at one to the other, it’s easy to see where the inclusions are.

Inclusions in a stone will never change, alter, grow or shrink. What they look like NOW, they will look like forever!

So if you can recognize them, know what they are, and where they are, then you’ll be able to Microscope or a Loupe your diamond at anytime, anywhere, and see your flaws, and know that you got your diamond back. That it wasn’t swapped, switched, or stolen!

Don’t believe me?

Go to James Allen and look at all their diamonds for sale, they all look unique and different.
All Diamonds Look Different

Even diamonds with the exact same characteristics (same color, carat weight, clarity, cut…) As shown here…

Same Quality Diamonds Look Different

Knowing this is Awesome!

For it really does show you that all you need is a 10x Jeweler’s Loupe or a Microscope to see your flaws, memorize them, draw them out if you have to (make your own plot, like shown below…)

View And Draw Your Diamond Inclusions Out

Or, just look on a diamond report (certificate). They will usually always have a plot of the flaws (if it’s 1.00 carat or bigger). As seen below…

GIA Diamond Report Plot

You can’t get any easier than that.

So go on, memorize your flaws today!

Cheers! :)
