They’re exploding everywhere in the jewelry industry.
As the days and months go by, lab-grown diamonds are becoming a main focus for jewelers across America.
And they have no choice but to adapt.
If not, they get lost in the dust…
Jewelry stores are running full page ads promoting lab-grown, man-made diamonds big time. And they’re expanding their collections into engagement rings, wedding sets, tennis bracelets, diamond pendants, earrings…
And with strong competition, the price of these lab grown pieces are getting cheaper… while becoming more popular at the same time. I know jewelers that are purposefully dropping the prices by $500 just to steal the customers. It’s crazy!
And it seems, there is no end… I mean, why would there be? You can actually get a 1 carat diamond solitaire, VS1, E, for only $2,000. That’s insane! (See the diamonds here).
So with lab-grown becoming such a lead, what will happen with the Earth-made diamonds? After all, they are triple the price…
I believe, with this hot trend, that by this coming Christmas, almost everything you see in stores with be man-made. Just like they did with Rubies, Emeralds, and Sapphires.
Man-made will take over.

How will customers be able to tell the difference? The created rubies, sapphires, and emeralds are pretty obvious- but a diamond? Personally, I think I’d feel about the same as if it were a cz- beautiful, but not authentic. Of course, that is just my opinion.
